The story
Rosie Kettleman started doing stand-up in 2016 at an open mic in the back of a Columbus bowling alley, mostly because nobody else at the hardware store wanted to hear the same stories twice. The store is still the center of the act: her dad, the customers who want one screw, and a Midwest that would rather drive to three stores than ask for help.
Since 2021 she has worked as a feature and host at clubs across Ohio, Indiana and Michigan, including regular weekends at The Pinch Room in Columbus and Lamplight Comedy Cellar in Indianapolis. She was a finalist at the 2025 Cornbelt Comedy Festival.
Her club set runs PG-13. Her clean 30 is the same voice with nothing to explain to HR, and it has played sales kickoffs, holiday parties and orientation weeks. She hosts well: on time, kind to the room, and quick to get the next act up.
